(USA) Vision Center Manager NL 1

Position Summary Drives sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs. Key Responsibilities Model and enforce proper customer/member service approaches and techniques, ensuring complaints and issues are resolved within company guidelines and standards. Oversee implementation of community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve as good community members. Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures and regulations for the Vision Center by analyzing reports, monitoring asset protection and safety controls, and overseeing safety, operational and quality assurance reviews. Develop and implement action plans to improve performance, provide guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives, and direct associates to maintain confidentiality of information and records. Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing achievements and promoting a belonging mindset. Ensure provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating members/customers, selecting products based on needs, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidential information, performing minor frame repair and maintaining optical equipment. Uphold the Company’s Open Door Policy by meeting with associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies and procedures, and suggesting resolutions. Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities and assignments, build relationships with key stakeholders, support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, communicate goals, build accountability, and measure progress. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience; High school diploma or equivalent; Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.
