Orientation: 4 hour hospital orientation followed by an 8 hour shift on the floor

Scrub Color: RNs - all navy, all white or a combination of navy and white; CNAs - all galaxy blue (looks like royal blue); Sitters - those without a CNA certificate all purple; RTs - medium gray/Pewter; LPN - Sage Green

KRONOS INSTRUCTIONS: Dial 533 from a phone that has been setup in Kronos. (this information will come from a manager or co-worker on the unit) The first time you connect, you will be asked to record the name. Please follow the prompts. Clock in with a 1 and clock out with a 9 unless you are clocking for charge, other productive time or a return callback. Clock in with a 62 if this is your 2nd, 3rd, etc. return for a call-back shift. Clock in with a 64 for other productive time (orientation, meeting, education, etc.) Clock in with a 66 if this is an in-charge shift For Lunches, clock out with a 3 and back in with a 4.

General Information: Number of Beds - 815 Number of Staff 150 Type of staff: Day Shift 34 pharmacists Night Shift - 3 pharmacists Patient Ratios Depending on area covered Type of equipment - Talyst Machine, Pyxis, LAFW, CAI, EMR - Cerner, Vigilanz

Typical hiring profile: Skill Set Most recruited for: 3rd shift pharmacist with broad experience in pediatric and adult pharmaceutical care to work in our central pharmacy. Oversee technician staff, verify orders, clinical documentation, and other operational needs of a central pharmacy Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Hospital Experience Experience overseeing the work of technicians Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Emergency Department Experience Cerner Experience, Vigilanz experience 3rd Shift Experience ACLS experience/certification
