SMV Recruiting is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization on a confidential search for an Maintenance & Machine Technician to support a highly automated production operation.

About the Role:
This is a hands-on machine operation and maintenance-focused role supporting a highly automated production line. This position is ideal for someone with industrial equipment experience who wants to build long-term skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting within a stable, growth-oriented environment.

There is no dedicated on-site maintenance team, so this role plays a critical part in keeping equipment running. You will operate machinery, troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and support machine adjustments and changeovers. This role includes a structured training path and long-term advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor automated production equipment

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on industrial machinery

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on machines and tooling

• Adjust machine settings to maintain quality and production standards

• Support equipment startups, shutdowns, and changeovers

• Perform routine inspections and document production and quality checks

• Use hand tools, measuring tools, and basic electrical testing equipment

• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety and PPE requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Forklift experience required

• Prior experience operating industrial equipment or machinery

• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical troubleshooting ability

• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and production schedules

• Ability to meet physical job requirements, including standing and lifting up to 40 lbs
