Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical with a minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience in Medical-Surgical nursing, Telemetry, and ED Holding areas. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, monitoring patient conditions, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring accurate documentation in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Documents Required:

• Valid NY State RN license
• Most Updated Resume
• ACLS Certified through AHA
• BLS Certified through AHA
• COVID Card

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ED Holding patients.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies while ensuring patient safety and adherence to physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient conditions, reporting significant changes promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation, educate patients and families, and assist with discharge planning and care coordination.

Skills:

• Medical-Surgical Nursing, Acute Care Nursing, and Patient Assessment.
• Telemetry Monitoring, Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation, and ED Holding Experience.
• Medication Administration, IV Therapy, and Infusion Management.
• EMR Documentation, Discharge Planning, and Care Coordination.
• Patient Education, Interdisciplinary Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Patient Safety.
