Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Miami, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 4 Day Schedule

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute OR settings, specifically in orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide preoperative and postoperative care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
• Serve as a scrub and circulator, ensuring high standards of patient safety and care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective surgical interventions.
• Monitor patients throughout the surgical process, adapting care as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute operating room setting.
• Advanced certifications: ACLS and BLS are mandatory.
• Experience with knee and hip replacement is essential.
• Preferred: PALS and CNOR certifications, along with charge nurse experience.
