IT Business Analyst – SOX Compliance & Retail Management Systems

Oakridge Staffing is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with a strong background in IT SOX Compliance, Retail Management Systems (RMS), and enterprise applications to support technology initiatives within a complex retail and omnichannel environment.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from cross-functional stakeholders, including Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Sustainability, ESG, Finance, Production, Order-to-Cash, Operations, Pricing, Packaging, Transportation, and Research & Development .
Partner with Technology teams, business users, and vendors to define project scope, facilitate requirements workshops, conduct gap analysis, map business processes, and support technology implementations.
Evaluate enterprise applications and system integrations, including ERP, POS, WMS, CRM, and Order Management Systems (OMS) .
Identify SOX compliance requirements, assess technology-related risks, document controls, and support improvements to IT compliance processes.
Coordinate with business and technical teams to ensure technology solutions align with operational objectives and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

Hands-on IT SOX Compliance Testing experience (required).
Strong Business Analyst experience, including requirements gathering, business process mapping, gap analysis, and functional documentation.
Knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGC), IT Application Controls (ITAC), and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
Experience working with enterprise applications and cross-functional business stakeholders.
Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Retail, eCommerce, or omnichannel industry experience.
Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS), Order-to-Cash, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Retail Management Systems .
Experience with SAP a plus!
Understanding of enterprise system integrations and technology-driven business process improvements.
