Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to perform mechanical and electromechanical assembly of components and subassemblies. This role requires strong soldering skills, good hand dexterity, and the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components, subassemblies, and final units using work instructions and schematics
• Solder electrical components, wires, and connectors to company standards
• Assemble precision rare earth magnetic components
• Inspect assemblies for accuracy, alignment, and overall quality
• Test assemblies for proper mechanical and electrical functionality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures
• Complete production logs, documentation, and quality checklists

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1- 2 years of assembly, manufacturing, or soldering experience
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and instructions

Preferred:

• Experience in electronics, medical device, aerospace, or precision assembly environments
• Familiarity with ESD handling and lean manufacturing practices

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
• Ability to lift 25- 40 lbs
• Good hand-eye coordination for soldering and assembly tasks
