Shift: 7AM - 5PM

Description: We are seeking an energetic and hands-on Site Superintendent specializing in Home Construction to lead day-to-day, on-site execution of residential building projects. In this role, you will be the boots-on-the-ground leader responsible for directing subcontractors, enforcing schedules, maintaining quality and safety standards, and keeping the job site running smoothly from foundation to final walkthrough. Your expertise in construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and jobsite problem-solving will drive daily progress while ensuring homes are built right, on time, and to code. Responsibilities

Manage on-site construction activities daily, ensuring work is executed according to plans, schedules, and quality standards.
Direct and coordinate subcontractor trades on-site, sequencing their work to keep the project moving efficiently and avoid conflicts or downtime.
Enforce jobsite safety protocols and OSHA compliance; proactively identify and correct hazards.
Conduct daily and weekly site walks to inspect workmanship, verify progress against schedule, and catch issues before they become costly.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings on-site to guide subcontractors and resolve field questions.
Coordinate material and equipment deliveries to ensure trades have what they need, when they need it, without delaying work.
Communicate daily progress, delays, and issues to the Project Manager; flag schedule risks and coordinate solutions.
Ensure work passes required inspections and complies with local building codes and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate site documentation including daily logs, photos, safety incident reports, and punch lists.
Manage on-site quality control and punch-list completion through project closeout and final walkthrough.
Qualifications

Proven experience supervising residential or commercial construction sites with a focus on home building.
Strong working knowledge of construction sequencing, trades coordination, and jobsite safety standards.
Familiarity with construction management platforms such as JobTread (experience preferred) for logging progress and communicating with the office.
Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately in the field.
Strong leadership presence with the ability to direct subcontractor crews and hold trades accountable on-site.
Sharp problem-solving skills to handle day-to-day field issues, delays, and unexpected site conditions.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating between subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and the project management team.
Solid understanding of residential building codes and site safety/regulatory compliance requirements.
Ability to manage multiple trades and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
