This contract position spans the academic year, offering a chance to work closely with a diverse caseload of up to 50 students across various age groups—from preschool through age 22—at locations to be determined before the assignment begins. You’ll play a critical role in supporting student communication skills, collaborating with educational teams, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Anticipated start is August 24, 2026, with possible training days the prior week. The first day of school is set for August 31, 2026, and the assignment continues until mid-June 2027 (with the possibility of a brief extension due to snow make-up days). Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule, working 37.5 hours each week, and the rewarding compensation of $50 to $65 per hour, reflecting your expertise and dedication.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure for practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Recent experience in educational settings, ideally with diverse and multi-age caseloads
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and student-centered practice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
