Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,590 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel We're looking for Respiratory Care professionals for an immediate travel position opening in Dallas, TX. The right RT should have 1 year of recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines. Responsibilities Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients. Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function and report malfunctions to the director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co-workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for the patient being treated. Respond to emergent situations that may require respiratory support. Physical/skill requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary (including patient transfers). Must have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must have 1 year of experience.
