Description
  • Assess patients from the pediatric through geriatric age groups using a combination of standardized assessments and observational methodologies.
  • Create individualized treatment plans that target immediate needs while nurturing long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
  • Deliver personalized speech therapy focused on fluency, language, voice, and swallowing interventions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to develop holistic care strategies.
  • Provide education to patients and their families to empower progress outside clinical sessions.
  • Engage in occasional inpatient assessments and therapies to ensure seamless care throughout the recovery process.
  • Keep meticulous documentation conforming to state and federal regulations.
  • Stay updated on field advancements via ongoing education and collaboration with peers.
Education
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
  • Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.
Certifications
  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

  • Expertise in evidence-based treatment methods across all age groups, complemented by a solid understanding of developmental and acquired disorders of speech, language, and swallowing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with patients, their families, and our multidisciplinary teams.

  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation standards.
