Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Kansas
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
• Commitment to supporting students’ unique communication needs and collaborating with faculty and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication challenges
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals
• Provide direct therapy sessions to students across varying age groups
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals
• Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to support individual student progress
