Full Time Associate Veterinarian

About the Role Join Lap of Love as an In-Home, Associate Veterinarian in New London, CT and surrounding areas. As a mobile veterinarian, you’ll provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families during life‑changing moments. You will travel to homes, manage outpatient visits, and maintain accurate medical records under the support of a virtual practice. Key Responsibilities Provide in‑home hospice and euthanasia services to pets and families. Perform physical examinations, assess health status, and develop treatment plans. Document patient histories, clinical findings, and care instructions in the practice system. Communicate clinical recommendations and support families emotionally. Adhere to local and state veterinary regulations and licensure requirements. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) graduate. Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation. Availability to work some weekends. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance. Successful background and motor‑vehicle record check. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on schedule: 4‑day positions start at $107,500; 5‑day positions at $130,000 base; 3‑day positions prorated.
