Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting, with float coverage to PCU as needed based on staffing demands.
• Float among up to five designated hospital locations within the system based on staffing needs.
• Complete and pass the Dysrhythmia exam during orientation (two attempts allowed; must be completed on a PC within 72 hours of signing).
• Complete all required orientation modules, which are billable and tracked via transcripts.
• Complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing and be clean shaven prior to fit testing before working on the unit.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - New Jersey or Compact license required; must be active and verified via Nursys within 2 weeks of submission (pending licenses not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU specialty experience, with experience within the last 12 months.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications required ; BLS must not expire within 30 days of assignment start date. All certifications must be in hand at time of submission.
• Must be willing and able to float among five designated hospital locations within the system.
• Block scheduling is not permitted; every other weekend and every other holiday required.
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the primary facility are subject to the local pay rate.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered.
