About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - Wound Care Profession: RN Specialty: Wound/Ostomy Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse (WOCN) Must-Have: Wound care experience Ability to function independently Description: This role involves consulting for inpatient wound care recommendations and treatment. Weekly follow-ups are required for patients. The position is autonomous, focusing on managing difficult wound vacuums and fistulas. New ostomy teaching is a part of the responsibilities. Candidates will need to perform various advanced skills in wound care management. The work environment consists of a unit with 512 beds and specified patient ratios. Documentation is completed using the Expanse system. The unit provides support from secretaries and tech staff. Candidates will be expected to adhere to dress code regulations, wearing navy blue scrubs. All applicants should be familiar with unit-specific policies and guidelines.
