CookThe Cook is responsible for preparation and assistance in service of all meals to clients, staff and guests within the organization.Shifts Available:Full-TimeDay Shift 7am to 3:30pmQualifications:Must be at least 21 years of age.Prior cooking experience, preferably in a high-volume setting.Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.Valid driver's license required.HS Diploma or GED required OR 5 years of relatable life and/or work experience to be verified by references and/or employment verification.Flexible schedule depending on departmental needsAble to work with children.Candidates who are hired will be required to successfully pass the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) required suitability background check.Responsibilities:Follow weekly cycle menus and production worksheets while recording daily food preparation amounts and usages to include special diets.Prepare hot and cold food working with a basic standardized recipe system.Record daily food, refrigeration and dishwasher temperatures.Assure overall sanitation and general cleaning of serving areas.All other duties as assigned by management.KidsPeace is a private charity committed to supporting the behavioral and mental health needs of children, families, and communities.
