Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | On-Call and Rotating Call Weekends Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist with left heart catheterization (LHC), complete heart catheterization, and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures
• Operate and monitor specialized cardiac equipment including Philips/GE combination lab systems, Azurion Maclab, and Cardo platforms
• Document patient care and procedural data accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Function as part of a procedure room team, typically consisting of 2 RNs and 2 technologists per room
• Participate in on-call rotations including rotating call weekends as required by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Demonstrated ability to circulate LHC, complete heart catheterization, and PCI procedures
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Flexible, team-focused, dependable, and strong communicator

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with advanced interventional procedures including Impella, IABP, Shockwave, ROTA, CTO, Penumbra, PE thrombectomy (Inari and Penumbra), peripheral, right heart, and temporary pacer
• Experience with TEE and stress/nuclear medicine procedures
• Familiarity with EP procedures and cardiac implants
