Every day you will meticulously perform a wide range of CT scans, expertly positioning patients and utilizing ALARA principles for radiation safety. You will accurately administer contrast media, manage patient identification, and proficiently operate 3-D workstation software for work-ups and reconstructions. Your responsibilities include maintaining equipment, documenting patient and contrast information, and ensuring seamless integration with PACS, Radnet, and other hospital systems.
To be successful in this role, you will hold current ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications, along with a valid AZ Medical Radiographer (MRAD:AZ) and CT Radiology Tech (CTRAD:AZ) license. A minimum of three years of CT experience is preferred, demonstrating your ability to perform complex procedures independently and with high proficiency.

- Performs CT scans based on current protocols and/or radiologist recommendations. CT scans include but are not limited to: Trauma/ER, Perfusions, Routine Body, Routine Neuro, Cardiac and Interventional Procedures, Utilizes good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others. Uses ALARA on every exam when selecting parameters for exam based on patient age and habitatus.
- Displays competency performing procedures; follows National Patient Safety Goals for two patient identifier,
hand hygiene and universal precautions. Always produces high quality diagnostic exams. Accurately enters,
selects and/or merges the correct patient identification information on the scanner and in PAC system. - Accurately and proficiently performs work-ups, such as perfusions & reconstructions, on the 3-D workstation
- Accurately and thoroughly completes hospital/department specific forms per protocol. Completes exams in
Radnet.
- Completion of approved AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent approved RadiologicTechnologist Program
