Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment in a hospital setting in Omaha, NE.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB certificate required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Experience with Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAM cameras preferred, though training is available.
• Driver’s license required at time of submittal for radius verification.
• Candidates may not be employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity (radius and affiliation restriction).

Preferred Qualifications

• DOT certification preferred at original contract and required at extension (within 90 days).
• Experience in hospital nuclear medicine departments preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0600-1500.
• Shift notes specify Mon-Fri, 0630-1500 and M-F 7:30a-4p in unit notes; schedule is Monday through Friday, no weekends, holidays, or on-call.
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
• Orientation hours: 12.
• Hospital cancellation policy: may cancel up to 4 shifts for a 13-week assignment.
• Radiation badge provided by client.
• Fingernail policy: artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas; refusal to comply may result in termination of contract.
• Candidate may be required to float to other facilities if requested by the client.
