Supply Chain Maintenance Specialist

Supply Chain Maintenance Specialist Based in Indianapolis, this role contributes to shaping the future of the Roche Global Supply Chain by maintaining reliability and performance of equipment used in Hub Operations Americas group. Responsibilities Primary tasks include: Perform preventative maintenance according to detailed procedures and schedules. Conduct electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to identify problems in non‑functioning equipment used in warehousing areas. Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or drawings. Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts & rebuild equipment as required. Implement equipment modifications, including installation, validation support, and start‑up of new equipment, as well as decommissioning activities directed by engineers. Apply predictive maintenance technologies and techniques to improve operational efficiencies. Use advanced knowledge and skills to complete assignments requiring judgment and initiative; determine methods and procedures on new assignments with little instruction. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency. Minimum 2 years of related maintenance experience. Preferred: Associate's degree, journeyman’s card, military training in equipment maintenance, or equivalent. Preference for at least 5 years of technical support and maintenance roles. Preferred credentials: CMRT, CRL, CMRP, etc. Strong technical knowledge and hands‑on experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Experience with conveyor systems and other warehouse equipment. Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and interpreting equipment manuals and schematics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration. Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs, spare parts management, and safety regulations.
