Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of medical assisting practices, This role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional care in a low patient volume clinic with positive and friendly environment while assisting the solo clinician with tasks of patient care. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in both medical and interpersonal skills as well as charting and documentation management, ensuring smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient interactions.

Duties

• Assist healthcare provider with patient intake, including recording vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms accurately.
• Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure all clinical areas adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures and collect laboratory specimens following proper protocols.
• Support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, scheduling referral and imaging appointments, handling labs and lab inventory.
• Assist with patient education on treatment plans, medication usage, and post-procedure instructions to enhance patient understanding and compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology to support clinical functions effectively.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in clinical settings , hospital environments, urgent care centers highly desirable but not necessary
• Experience performing phlebotomy and basic laboratory procedures preferred
