Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join their client's amazing team in California. Responsibilities Provide clinical support to healthcare providers, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality care. Perform vital signs measurements, patient assessments, and document findings accurately. Assist with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures as directed by healthcare providers. Maintain and organize medical records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals as needed. Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring all necessary medical equipment is available and functional. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and policies. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide exceptional service. Support additional medical and administrative duties as assigned by supervisors. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical assisting is preferred. Previous experience as a medical assistant or in a healthcare setting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and team members. Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer applications. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting patient information and performing clinical tasks.
