ROLE - SPECIALTY Schedule
Days, 9 hours per shift, five days per week, 36-40 hours per week. Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Current Michigan SLP License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- 2+ years of pediatric Speech-Language Pathology experience
- Experience with Videofluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS)
- Must be willing to work in both inpatient and outpatient units Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations and administer treatment for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Design and revise patient care plans and goals.
- Provide written and verbal reports to physicians.
- Complete documentation according to regulatory requirements.
- Participate in education programs and stay updated on current trends in speech and swallowing disorders.
- Engage in patient care committees and community education projects as needed. Compliance / Notes
- Client will not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility.
- Requests for time off during the assignment must be noted at the time of submission; no more than five days will be accepted.
- Dress code: Business casual or matching scrubs.
- Must have own vehicle for this assignment.
- Rotating on-call schedule, typically one weekend per month.
