Forklift Operator

Job Description

The Forklift Operator will primarily operate a counterbalance forklift to handle load movements efficiently within the warehouse. This role demands strict adherence to safety protocols while managing inventory, stacking materials, and documenting logs to support smooth warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Operate counterbalance forklift to move and handle loads safely
Manage inventory movement throughout the warehouse
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Stack materials in designated areas according to warehouse layout
Maintain accurate log documentation of handled loads
Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklift equipment

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of experience in material handling
High school diploma or equivalent
Forklift Operator Certification
Knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures
Basic equipment maintenance skills
Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
Strong attention to detail and physical stamina
Effective communication skills
Basic Microsoft Excel skills
