Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is required
• Previous experience in an operating room setting with proven ORT (Operating Room Technician) skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and patient safety protocols
• Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and equipment
• Support surgeons and nurses during procedures, anticipating needs and passing instruments
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and transfer as necessary
• Maintain the sterile field and ensure all infection control practices are followed
• Account for all surgical supplies, instruments, and specimens during and after the procedure
• Participate in room turnover and ensure readiness for subsequent cases
• Accurately complete required documentation and contribute to a safe surgical environment
