SummaryThe Teller is responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and efficient transaction services while providing a positive customer experience. In addition, incumbent may be required to rotate between banking centers, as needed.Provides a welcoming environment and communicates professionally and effectively with customers and other members of the teamAccurately process a high volume of customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and check cashing, verifying endorsements, placing Reg CC holds, cash advances, etc.Consistently apply banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across a variety of transaction typesRetain and correctly apply transaction rules, limits, holds, documentation requirements, and exception handlingPerform required verification and control steps to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigationMaintain a balanced cash drawer by accurately accounting for all cash received and disbursedManage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining focus and accuracy in a fast-paced environmentIdentify discrepancies, exceptions, or potential risks and escalate appropriatelyAdhere to all security, audit, and internal control standardsDeliver professional, courteous, and efficient service while managing frequent interruptionsParticipates in job specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessaryMaintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policyMaintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operationsMaintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AMLPerforms other related duties as required and assignedQUALIFICATIONSThese specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position.
