Sales ManagerRobbins Recruiting has partnered with a leader in the residential roofing industry looking for a motivated Sales Manager at one of their branches in Chattanooga, TN.Who you are:Motivated sales leader with a drive to win. You know what it's like to stand in front of a customer in their home and guide them through a major purchase decision. You understand a Profit and Loss (P+L) statement and how to most impactfully move the needle in the right direction. You are consistently available to your team when they need you. You love doing ride-a-longs to be where the rubber meets the road. Roofing sales experience a plus, but not required.Sales Leadership and StrategySet and maintain the standard within the sales teamOversee the day-to-day activities of and the long-term development of the sales repsLead standing sales team meetings and conduct effective 1:1 meetings with members of the teamContinually evolve and improve the sales process to meet the demands of the marketPartner with other functions (e.g., marketing) to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution of the strategyTraining and DevelopmentIncorporate trainings into the standing team meetingsDevelop training guides and resources to facilitate continual improvement of the sales teamConduct effective new hire trainingEstablish and ensure adherence to performance management standards and process, including set KPIs with thresholds and remedial processesRecruitingEstablish profile of ideal sales repLead talent management within the sales organization, including the building and maintenance of the talent pipelineOperational ExcellenceEnsure sales team is executing against standards (i.e., proper uniforms, punctuality, effectively using the technology provided, etc.)What we are looking for:Experience leading in-home sales teams within the home improvement spacePreferred: Roofing experienceExcellent sales and customer service skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong supervisory and leadership skills.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Proficient with common sales-enablement technology for in-home sales (e.g., Rilla)Proficient in CRM system usageProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.At least five years in in-home sales, with prior leadership experience strongly preferred.Physical Qualifications:Work is performed both in an office environment and in the field while working with reps. Requires the ability to operate office equipment and keyboards. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Minimal out of town travel$75,000 - $90,000 a year
