Overview Title: Hydrostatic Test Operator / Baytown, TX LOCATION: Baytown, Texas - USA
DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS
Company: Tenaris Responsibilities Performs hydrostatic and drift test on seamless pipe in a safe and efficient manner following Work Instructions and Procedures while complying with Tenaris Quality standards. Operates overhead crane and executes change over and setup of the machine using the overhead crane. Performs Hydrotesting and Drifting machine operation. Verifies coolant levels, test time, and pressure meets work order specifications. Performs LOTO, preventative maintenance (PM Day), and daily operative maintenance (coolant level, machine adjustments, seals, etc.). Updates information in the tracking systems and records the obtained results. Performs housekeeping of own workstation and finishing line if needed. Qualifications & Requirements Experience operating overhead cranes and performing machine setup. Knowledge of hydrostatic testing and drifting processes. Ability to follow Work Instructions and Quality standards. Commitment to safe work practices and compliance with LOTO procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
