RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience License: Active state RN license or compact license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Electrophysiology experience Experience with EPIC and MacLab Experience in advanced practice cardiac cath and peripheral angiography Description:This position requires performing advanced practice cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiologic studies, and therapeutic interventional procedures.The nurse will provide peri-procedural care and education for patients.Assisting cardiologists and other specialists during diagnostic and interventional procedures is a key responsibility.Maintaining records and documentation for procedures is essential.The cath lab consists of multiple labs for electrophysiology and cardiac catheterizations, with a patient load that can reach approximately 20 patients daily.This is a fast-paced, high acuity environment that also includes structural heart procedures.Candidates should be comfortable handling the demands of a Level 3 Cath lab.Call responsibilities include once weekly and every 4th weekend.The role involves working with various cardiac devices and requires understanding complex cardiovascular conditions. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet Health
