We are looking for a Founding Full Stack Engineer with 5-7 YOE to join our small, senior-level team building AI-powered customer lifecycle management. We are looking for a generalist engineer who can work across the full stack (Python/FastAPI backend-heavy, React frontend), interface with customers, and help shape our product and culture from the ground up. This is a critical hire to help us scale and service our growing customer pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs (Python, FastAPI) and frontend experiences (React) across the full stack
- Work directly with enterprise customers to understand use cases and co-build custom AI agents and workflows
- Own product and infrastructure areas end-to-end, from problem identification to shipping, including architectural decisions
- Collaborate closely with the co-founders and have a significant influence on the product roadmap and company strategy.
- Operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, taking ownership of outcomes from problem identification to shipping features.
Requirements
- 5 - 7 years of experience in full-stack software engineering.
- Experience at a early-stage, VC-backed (Seed to Series B) startup.
- Demonstrated promotion history in at least one previous role.
- Experience at a large, well-known tech company (e.g., Google, Meta, etc.) in addition to startup experience.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Python and backend development (FastAPI).
- React or equivalent modern frontend framework.
- Experience or strong interest in applied AI.
Soft skills
Strong communicator - can interface directly with enterprise customers and translate requirements into features.
Miscellaneous
California-based strongly preferred (SF Bay Area ideal).
