Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position located in Enid, Oklahoma. The role involves providing care for a diverse patient population, including females of childbearing years, pregnant women at 17 weeks gestation, and patients undergoing labor, scheduled procedures such as cesarean sections and external cephalic versions, as well as triage cases. This position requires delivering high-quality maternal and fetal care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to clinical protocols and documentation standards.

Job Details:

• Facility Address: 305 South 5th Street, Enid, Oklahoma, 73701
• Shift Schedule: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district, 2 years of labor and delivery experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, certification or experience in electronic fetal monitoring, Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) system experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Fetalink documentation and familiarity with common equipment such as fetal monitors.
• Additional Information: The patient care activities include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative and delivery procedures (vaginal and cesarean), and triage management. The unit handles scheduled procedures like cesarean sections and external cephalic versions, with efforts to minimize procedures like cerclage. The activity involves coordinating through Cerner and Fetalink documentation systems, with a patient population that includes pregnant women at various gestational stages and laboring patients.
