AIT offers a competitive compensation package (including free medical options for employees and their family), casual work environment and excellent growth opportunities.Summary:The Senior Financial Analyst will be heavily involved in the Company's financial forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis and special projects. They will provide strategic support to senior management including helping with board presentations, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities and other projects as requested by senior management.Duties and Responsibilities:Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicatorsMonitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variancesDevelop and maintain budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan and modeling toolsQuarterly and monthly financial reportsAd-hoc reporting and analysisWork with a business intelligence tool to create dashboard reportsDevelop financial models to support strategic initiativesAnalyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial information to management for decision making purposesSupporting senior management team with in-depth analysisAssist in the preparation of presentations to Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team.Perform other duties as assigned.Education and Work Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar field.Three or more years of FP&A experience.Project based accounting and manufacturing accounting experience requiredCertified Public Accountant or MBA preferredWork Authorization/Security Clearance Requirements:Government clearance required or have the ability to obtain one.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:List of needed knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully accomplish the duties and responsibilities of the jobStrong understanding of financial statements and financial statement analysisCan interpret financial data contained in reports and ledgers.Performs day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.Work in a high energy, high volume, rapidly changing environment.Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work, and achieves results.Able to tackle complicated issues by evaluating information gathered and organized to arrive at an outcome.Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas involved.Coaches people by giving them timely, constructive feedback and encouragement.Clear and effective communication skills in both written and spoken forms.Understands how to use the computers, including such tasks as turning the computer on and off, locating and opening files, navigate to websites, perform searches, and download files.Knowledge of computer applications including email, databases, word-processing program and spreadsheets (such as Microsoft Office).Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.Provides excellent service to internal and external customers.Make timely, informed decisions that take into account the facts, goals, constraints, and risks with information gathered and analyzed.Ensures that decisions are made based on policies, rules and organizational directives to solve emerging problems.Maintains confidentiality while processing and handling confidential information with discretion.Recovers quickly from setbacks and maintains professional composure.Can handle frequent interruptions and can multi-task.Creates a work environment that promotes and encourages team members' participation to attain common and individual objectives.Leadership and management skills with a proven ability to coordinate employees, teams, and departments with different skills and backgrounds.Identifies problems and review relevant information to develop options, then implement the solutions.Understands the organization's strengths and weaknesses as compared to competitors.
