LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse Job Description The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Schedule This position requires availability for a 06:00 - 18:30 shift. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a LTAC/Telemetry unit. Utilize the Nursing Process to ensure safe delivery of care. Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient care. Lead and supervise assigned personnel in delivering patient care. Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have ACLS & BLS certifications (American Heart Association). Vent/trach experience required. Knowledge of central lines preferred. Wound care experience is a plus. Active CO or multi-state compact RN license required. Patient ratios of 1:6. Why ARMStaffing?
