Supply Chain Operations ManagerResponsible for supporting the planning, execution, and optimization of supply chain operations for Fielmann USA. Analyze supply chain performance and provide solutions to ensure inventory levels meet business objectives. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and shippers. Develop reporting and processes focused on key performance metrics related to supply chain initiatives. Focuses include demand planning, inventory optimization, supplier performance, and cost efficiency to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain OperationsAnalyze supply chain data related to demand, inventory, logistics, and procurement to identify areas of supply chain operations that have need of improved efficiencyMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as service level, inventory turnover, lead time, and costDevelop and complete weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting and analysisDevelop and execute projects, processes, and procedures to enhance supply chain operationsAssist in process improvement and digitalization initiativesLead system enhancements, testing, and rollouts (LMS, ERP, planning tools, Power BI solutions)Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and shippersAssess vendor operations and enforce compliance with quality standardsPrepare, report, and communicate inventory metrics. Analyze and measure their impact and report to managementWork with procurement, logistics and IT departments to enhance service deliveryOptimize retail and lab usage of supplies to cut down spend and implement controlsConceptualize large-picture projects and foresee challenges and needs to be addressedMaintain and share knowledge across the business regarding supply chain systems and processesDevelop best practices to improve supply chain data, information and processesIdentify opportunities for innovation, productivity improvement, and cost savingsMaintain databases using Microsoft Office programs and other programs relevant to company processesDocument processes and contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs)Ensure compliance with internal policies and supply chain governance standardsMinimum Knowledge, Experience & Skills RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentBachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related fieldCombination of education and/or equivalent work experience in a related field1-3 years' experience in inventory management or supply chain operationsSolid understanding of supply chain processes to include procurement, planning, logistics, and inventoryStrong systems knowledge; demonstrated experience with WMS & LMSExperience with ERP systems such as SAP is a plusAbility to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; forklift license requiredExcellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a team environment as well as independentlyExcellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of delivery processes, and exceptional analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesStrong organizational and time management skillsSolid computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office Suite of programs; advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar data analysis toolsEssential Functions & Work RequirementsAbility to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperaturesAbility to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization through written and two-way verbal communicationAble to read and write at a high school graduate levelAble to lift and move heavy items up to 50 poundsAble to sit, stand, lift, and bend for extended periods of timeUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredAble to operate various office equipment (e.g., personal computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, etc.)Able to work normal and/or extended (evenings, nights and weekends) office hours to meet established deadlinesAble to travel independently to support Company objectives and personal developmentMust be available to work in-person at warehouse location in Clinton Twp., MIThese statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by associates assigned to this job classification.
