Parahunt Global Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst in Long Beach, CA (onsite) to turn complex datasets into actionable insights. Responsibilities Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL databases , ETL processes, and data analytics tools to maintain accuracy and consistency. Design and build interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau , Power BI , Looker , and other reporting tools to visualize KPIs and business metrics. Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, complete analysis, and translate business needs into technical specifications for data models and visualizations. Perform database design and query management on SQL Server , Oracle , or similar relational databases to optimize data retrieval. Create and maintain automated workflows using Python , R , Bash (Unix shell) , or VBA to streamline data processing. Contribute to SDLC analysis within an Agile environment to ensure data solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned to project goals. Support business intelligence deliverables by analyzing requirements, building data models, and developing dashboards that enable strategic insights. Requirements Proven experience with SQL query management and database design across SQL Server , Oracle , or comparable platforms. Strong proficiency with Tableau , Power BI , or Looker for dashboard development and reporting. Hands‑on experience with ETL workflows using Talend or similar tools to extract, transform, and load data. Knowledge of Python and R for advanced analysis and automation tasks. Familiarity with business intelligence analysis, requirements analysis, and dashboarding best practices. Understanding of SDLC in an Agile context for iterative project delivery.
