Regional Coordinator - Intermediary

Job Overview A successful Regional Coordinator (Internal Sales Representative) will work closely with Senior Regional Directors (External Sales Representatives) within Voya Investment Management’s Intermediary Distribution team to further the overall sales process. Responsibilities Work collaboratively with the Senior Regional Director to improve the effectiveness of the team and maximize territory sales efforts, attaining sales goals through growing existing clients and developing new clients. Conduct time and territory management activities such as assessing territory data and segmentation for best opportunities, strategic planning, zone/rotation planning, establishing priorities, schedule, follow‑up, and CRM documentation. Anticipate the needs of Financial Advisor clients, prepare, profile, position, follow through, and close deals. Communicate effectively via phone, video, one‑on‑one, group presentations, written and digital channels. Articulate the process, performance and nuances of Voya products and services, and provide competitive analysis to advise advisors on positioning Voya products. Participate in ongoing training covering data & technology, communication skills, product knowledge, leadership, territory management, client experience, collaboration and adaptability. Display initiative, adapt to diverse people and needs, and maintain positive professional relationships with advisors, peers, external stakeholders, centers of influence, and management. Qualifications Minimum 4‑year degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience. 2–5 years of sales experience in the financial services industry preferred. Strong working knowledge of popular sales software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail. FINRA Series 7 and 63/65 or 66 required; if not held, must pass within 90 days of hire. Professional, adaptable, collaborative, creative, self‑motivated, organized, responsible with an upbeat, positive attitude. Proficient time‑management, problem‑solving, and follow‑up skills. Compensation Annual base salary range: $65,000 to $70,000 USD. Plus monthly commissions and annual bonus opportunities based on performance.
