Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Canton, Ohio. This role involves providing comprehensive pediatric respiratory care within a healthcare facility, including patient assessment, treatment planning, ventilatory support, and procedure assistance. Candidates will evaluate patient needs, operate ventilatory equipment, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification(s) as a Respiratory Therapist (RT), valid license to practice as a respiratory therapist, at least 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy, including pediatric care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric respiratory patients, proficiency with pulmonary function studies, and familiarity with emergency procedures such as ACLS and BLS.
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will conduct routine assessments, assist with complex procedures like bronchoscopy and chest tube placement, monitor and operate ventilatory and life support equipment, and maintain accurate documentation of care and responses. The role requires adherence to clinical policies and collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
