Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Take on a rewarding contract assignment as a School Psychologist in the vibrant Baltimore area, MD. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students while collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and support staff. This on-site role is set to begin August 31, 2026, and extend through June 17, 2027, providing stability throughout the academic year.

You’ll work a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, offering support, assessment, and counseling services within one or more schools in the area. Your expertise will be valued as you help students across various age groups reach their full potential.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s or PhD in School Psychology
• Active certification or state licensure, meeting Maryland state requirements
• Experience working within a school setting is highly desirable
• Flexibility to manage varying caseloads and responsibilities as assigned
• Ability to complete district-specific credentialing, including House Bill 486 compliance (background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments, interpret results, and provide recommendations
• Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans
• Offer individual and group counseling to students as needed
• Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to address student challenges and promote positive learning environments
• Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) processes and crisis intervention as required
• Maintain timely and accurate records per district policy
