Responsibilities
- Circulate in the OR and provide recovery care in PACU; endoscopy experience is required
- Deliver perioperative nursing across adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics; monitor vitals and anesthesia–related parameters
- Support common procedures including laparoscopic/open general surgery, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, colonoscopy/EGD, hernia repair, tonsil/adenoid, total joint replacement, VATS, and pediatric general OR
- Maintain patient safety, manage post-anesthesia care, and respond to perioperative emergencies; monitor cardiac status
- Collaborate with Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary; document in Epic or equivalent
- Ensure sterile technique and adherence to perioperative protocols in a 3-room unit

Requirements
- Active RN license in a compact state; license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year OR experience; endoscopy experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- 40 hours of orientation provided
- References: 2 required (covering 1 year within the last 3 years; 6 months for CNAs)
- Background checks: Nursys and prior background hits not accepted
- Ability to work in OR circulation and PACU/recovery; may float to nearby facilities as assigned
- Local radius: within 50 miles preferred
