Inventory Control Clerk

As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will primarily operate a sit-down forklift for the majority of your day. Your responsibilities will include handling inventory, receiving materials, loading production lines, and removing finished products. You will also assist with inventory cycle counts and manage the movement of boxes in the shipping department.

Responsibilities

• Process internal and external production parts.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts.
• Organize and store boxes in the shipping department.

Essential Skills

• Proven forklift experience.
• Strong inventory management experience.
• Material handling proficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with RF scanners and order picking is beneficial.
• Ability to perform cycle counts accurately.

Work Environment

The facility, which is clean and well organized, produces hose connections and attachments for first responders, as well as monitors for fire trucks. While the environment is not temperature-controlled, allowing it to get warm in the summer and cold in the winter, employees can wear knee-length shorts. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valparaiso, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
