Job Summary

Seeking an experienced PC&IS Engineer with 5+ years of industrial Instrumentation & Control Design Engineering experience to support engineering design, panel engineering, commissioning, and startup activities for a manufacturing/industrial plant environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in instrumentation design, PLC/SCADA, control system architecture, LV electrical distribution, MCCs, UL508A panels, and NEC standards . The role requires close coordination with customers, vendors, construction teams, and offshore engineering resources from design through startup.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Instrumentation & Control engineering design packages for industrial process and packaging systems.
• Prepare Instrument Datasheets, I/O Lists, Instrument Lists, Loop Drawings, Wiring Diagrams, and Control System Architecture .
• Design and select control hardware, field instrumentation, panels, and monitoring systems .
• Develop LV electrical distribution, power distribution panels, and MCC designs in accordance with NEC requirements.
• Support UL508A-compliant control panel engineering .
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, construction teams, and offshore engineering teams to collect design inputs and complete deliverables.
• Participate in design reviews , resolve technical issues, and obtain required approvals.
• Support installation, commissioning, validation, and startup activities.
• Lead electrical startup of process and packaging equipment .
• Develop and review instrument/JB layouts, cable tray layouts, location plans, and field installation documentation .
• Ensure engineering deliverables comply with applicable NEC, NFPA 70E, and industrial plant standards .
