Registered Nurse Cath LAB

Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab Location: Chicago, IL (Lakeview Neighborhood) Hours: 40 hours per week, 4–10 hour shifts (Day shift). Call required; must arrive within 30 minutes. Job type: Full time Pay Range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour Where You Will Work The unit has three Cath Labs where physicians perform minimally invasive tests and procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease. As a nurse in this department you will assist the cardiovascular team throughout the procedure from prep through recovery. Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in Critical Care or Cath Lab Ability to take call and arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes Responsibilities Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
