Accounting Associate

The Accounting Associate position supports accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions, including daily, weekly, and monthly duties and special projects related to larger departmental initiatives. Responsibilities General ledger maintenance, including reconciliations, entries, and accruals. Assist with tax compliance and accounts payable. Streamline AP vendor invoices using document capture and OCR software. Provide accounting support to multiple branch locations. Maintain electronic records and files. Support month‑end closing activities. Assist with ad‑hoc accounting projects. Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner. Desired Skills and Experience Minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting, finance, or corporate department. Strong understanding of processes, waste elimination, and delivering excellent customer experience for internal and external stakeholders. Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think quickly and solve problems. High proficiency with Microsoft applications. Experience with CDK IntelliDealer, SAP, or Oracle is a plus. Background check and pre‑employment drug testing required.
