Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to meet the individual needs of clients seeking stress relief and emotional support. \n
- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' psychological stressors, personal challenges, and therapeutic goals, and adjust mindfulness practices accordingly. \n
- Lead individuals in mindfulness exercises, guided meditation, and breathwork techniques to enhance self-awareness and foster emotional stability. \n
- Facilitate group workshops and educational classes on mindfulness practices, effective stress management, and resilience-building strategies. \n
- Incorporate mindfulness into individual therapy sessions, specifically addressing clients' mental health concerns while promoting holistic well-being. \n
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and healthcare providers to integrate mindfulness approaches into a cohesive treatment plan for clients. \n
- Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, mindfulness treatment interventions, and personalized care plans to ensure accountability and facilitate ongoing therapeutic evaluations. \n
- Engage in regular personal mindfulness practices to enhance your capability in delivering superior therapeutic interventions and fostering emotional regulation among clients. \n
Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse group of clients seeking to overcome anxiety, depression, and stress-related conditions. Our patient population ranges from young adults to older adults, each on their journey toward self-discovery and improved mental health. You will be instrumental in helping these individuals implement practical mindfulness strategies into their daily lives, enabling them to better navigate personal challenges and enhance their quality of life.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California. \n
- Demonstrable proficiency in integrating mindfulness practices into therapeutic interventions is essential for success in this role. \n
- Strong interpersonal skills to create a calming therapeutic environment that fosters trust and openness with clients. \n
- Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to clients, encouraging their active participation in the therapeutic process. \n

- Extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or other mindfulness intervention techniques is preferred but not mandatory. \n
- Experience in group therapy settings, particularly in facilitating mindfulness-based practices. \n
- Background in various therapeutic modalities that complement mindfulness, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). \n
