Job Summary

The Personnel Commission announces an OPEN and PROMOTIONAL recruitment. This recruitment will result in the establishment of one integrated eligibility list. Promotional candidates will have seniority points added to final passing scores (.25 of a point for every year of classified service up to a maximum of 5 points). This list will be used to fill current and future vacancies and will be active for one year or until cancelled. (The names of eligible candidates on the current list will be merged to the new list in accordance with final scores) There are currently multiple positions open at various sites and as rovers. These are 8 hour/day, 12 month position.


Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, maintain clean, sanitary, safe, and orderly assigned buildings and facilities for students, staff, and the public by performing a variety of cleaning and custodial duties; secure rooms and buildings; and perform special leaning and building maintenance periodically.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum qualifications are noted on the job announcement. APPEAL OF SCREENOUT: If your application is screened out and you feel it was misinterpreted, you may appeal to the Director of Classified Human Resources for administrative review. This must be done by submitting your appeal, in writing, with your reasons within seven (7) calendar days of the date on the disqualification notice.


CHANGES OF NAME OR ADDRESS: Changes of name or address should be reported immediately. Notify Classified Human Resources by mail or telephone as soon as possible.
