Location: Sarasota, FL. Job Type: Part-time (Male candidates only) Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday - 6am to 4pm Setting: In-Person | Outpatient

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing outpatient healthcare team in Sarasota, FL.

This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys a fast-paced clinical environment, diverse patient population, and meaningful patient interaction. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing primary and urgent care while also having an interest or experience in wellness services.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients independently within scope of practice.
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and obtain vital signs and BMI measurements.
• Review personal and family medical histories.
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education.
• Administer medications, injections, and immunizations.
• Perform minor procedures, including:
  • Wound care
  • Suturing
  • Splinting
  • Laceration repair
• Provide appropriate follow-up care and patient counseling.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Efficiently manage a diverse patient population in a high-volume outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Active Florida NP or PA license.
• Master's degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
• FNP, AGNP, or appropriate advanced practice certification for the position.
• Current DEA registration and prescribing privileges.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, or a related outpatient setting preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and bedside manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, self-directed clinical team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
