Connect Staffing is hiring a Chemical Operator for a chemical manufacturing plant in Sealy, TX. This is a temp-to-hire position — pay rate will be confirmed during the screening process. In this role, you will execute batch-making and mixing processes, package finished goods, and perform in-process quality testing in a production environment. This is a long-term opportunity with a well-established manufacturer.

Responsibilities
- Execute batch making and chemical mixing processes according to established production schedules and quality guidelines.
- Perform product changeovers and set up equipment for incoming shifts.
- Conduct in-process quality tests and document results, process times, and any process variations.
- Enter SAP order confirmations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Operate a forklift to support material movement and ensure raw material availability before production runs.
- Assist with preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and training of new or temporary employees.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a chemical plant, batch production, industrial, manufacturing, or other production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems for order entry and confirmations.
- Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions or standard operating procedures.

Pre-Employment Requirements
- Ability to work at a fast pace in a manufacturing environment.
- Steel-toe boots required (employee-provided).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. — E-Verify will be used to confirm work authorization.
