Billings Clinic is seeking Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologists to provide locum tenens coverage while supporting a maternity leave . This is a procedural, cath-lab-only role with no inpatient rounding or clinic responsibilities.

• Practice Environment: Trauma Level I, Stroke-Certified Facility

• EMR: Cerner

• June 11 or 12 (6am) June 15 (6am)

• Potential July dates available, pending full-time provider start

• Cath lab coverage only (no hospital coverage required)

• Average volume:

  • 5 10 cases/day (lighter on weekends)

  • STEMIs per month

• Patients per shift: 6 10

• Beds: 32

• Assigned patient rounding only

• Interventional cardiology procedures including:

  • Cardiac catheterization

  • Angioplasty (PTCA)

  • Intracoronary stent placement

  • Atherectomy

  • IABP placement

  • PA catheter placement

  • STEMI coverage

• Call Type: Beeper
  

• Response Time: 20 minutes

• Avg Callbacks: 20%

• Patients Seen on Call: 2

• Admissions: 2

• Locums call covers both procedural and consult needs

• 3 RNs onsite

• No APP supervision required

• No residents or teaching responsibilities

• Fellowship-trained in Cardiology

• Board Eligible or Board Certified

• Montana license OR active IMLC Letter of Qualification required for submission
