Essential Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide outstanding service
• Assist patients with product selection and inquiries
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain clean and organized sales floor and displays
• Support stock replenishment and inventory management
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

• Consultative selling - Desire to sell what’s right for the patient’s prescription, lifestyle, and budget
• Demonstrates manual dexterity when using tools and handling small components to perform minor repairs and adjustments.
• Learns, retains, and accurately applies insurance provider requirements, coverage details, and processing guidelines.
• Demonstrates a willingness and desire to learn basic optical principles and common medical conditions, and effectively communicates the doctor's findings to patients.
• Must have flexible availability, including the ability to work Saturdays.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good computer skills including knowledge of MS Office

Desired Characteristics

• Strong customer service skills
• Fluent in reading and speaking in both English and Spanish
• Optical knowledge preferred, but not required
• Familiar with Creative Payment options like ACIMA, AFF, Affirm, and Care Credit
• Sales Goals Driven to achieve high commissions
