Essential Responsibilities
- Greet patients and provide outstanding service
- Assist patients with product selection and inquiries
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain clean and organized sales floor and displays
- Support stock replenishment and inventory management
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
- Consultative selling - Desire to sell what’s right for the patient’s prescription, lifestyle, and budget
- Demonstrates manual dexterity when using tools and handling small components to perform minor repairs and adjustments.
- Learns, retains, and accurately applies insurance provider requirements, coverage details, and processing guidelines.
- Demonstrates a willingness and desire to learn basic optical principles and common medical conditions, and effectively communicates the doctor's findings to patients.
- Must have flexible availability, including the ability to work Saturdays.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good computer skills including knowledge of MS Office
Desired Characteristics
- Strong customer service skills
- Fluent in reading and speaking in both English and Spanish
- Optical knowledge preferred, but not required
- Familiar with Creative Payment options like ACIMA, AFF, Affirm, and Care Credit
- Sales Goals Driven to achieve high commissions
