Education

An Associate of Applied Science degree is highly encouraged to support your technical expertise in this role.

Experience

At least two years of experience with cardiology procedures is preferred, along with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification to demonstrate proficiency.

• A preference for scientific and technical activities to effectively operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to interact confidently and compassionately with patients of all ages on a one-to-one basis.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying work situations and take independent action when necessary.
• Maintaining a neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times.
• Respect for patient confidentiality and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
• Manual dexterity to perform diagnostic tests, including the use of both hands independently.
• Excellent visual and auditory acuity to monitor equipment and patient responses.
• Physical ability to assist patients on treadmills and perform moderate to heavy lifting and transport.
• Awareness of minimal radiation exposure and potential eye strain from monitoring equipment.
• Compliance with safety protocols regarding contact with blood or potentially infectious materials.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
